complaint regarding illegaly charging money by opening store credit cards

Sir,

I purchased some articles from Macy store.They offered

me to give discount if i become a memeber. I aske them

I dont want to enroll in any Macy store card. They

said i dont have to and accepted my payment through my

debit card. But after 3 months they came back and were

repeatedly harassing me for paying the amount plus

late payment fee. Upon enquiring i found out that they

had opened 2 store membership cards and charged the

amount to one of them. I have fighting ever since,

that they had illegally opened the credit cards with

out my permission and harassing me every day for not

paying and threated me for reporting it to credit

agency. I have disputed it several time and asked them

to show me the proof or signed copy of my receipts

that i have asked to open them the cards and paid it

using the store card. But ever after 5 months I have

no reply from them. I have already paid them the dues

again. But they still went ahead and reported it to

credit beaureau and my credit history is badly

effected. I am not able to live in this country its

effecting me big time. I cannot get a rental car nor

get any purchases done, nor buy a morgage etc. You

should please understand the problem how companys like

Macy's and other businesses are indirectly threatening

consumers and building their businesses. Its not once

that i have be effected this way. I can give further
