Servicemagic.com

I had been using Servicemagic.com for leads until I started receiving multiple bogus/bad leads. I finally got tired of throwing my money away with them and canceled my account with them, that was January of 2006. A few months later I noticed they were still using my company’s name along with my company’s good ratings/reviews in their advertising online, when customers click on these ads they are given a phone number to call which goes to a service center and is answered by service magic. The thing is that service magic is giving out another company’s info after the customer clicks on our name. I have called Service Magic 5 times in the past year trying to get this resolved with no success. I have now filed a complaint with the BBB, which I don’t think will do much good since Service Magic has an unsatisfactory history with the BBB. I would warn anyone who is thinking about using this company for leads. Their customer service is non existent and I believe that they produce bogus leads to make extra money from their contractors.
