On April 20, 2007, I called Security Systems to get further information regarding a security camera offered on their web site. I explained to Bill, the owner that I operated an assisted living facility an suspected a staff member of stealing from residents. I indicated to him that I wanted to put the camera in the resident's apartment to record any theft. I also purchase the USB able in order to download the image and make a copy should it become necessary in litigation. We received the camera and could not get it to record. My assistant called the tech support line twice and was given the glib answer of "find yourself a 7 year old to help you." After her second call, the tech department did not return her calls. I called the company on April 30th and left a message that I had some questions regarding the product. Bill immediately returned my call and was upset that I "tricked" him. I explained that we were having problems with the camera and he conferences in with the tech. My assistant was on the phone with them and listened to them bicker back and forth, we were finally able to record and image, but it was only a 1inch square and too unclear to see. When I asked for am RMA to return the product because it was not meeting with our needs, I was met with sarcasm, nastiness and very clear unprofessional ism. I did return the product with the original packaging, but unfortunately the white cardboard sleeve could not be removed without tearing so I was not refunded my money. I just want people to beware of this company. The owner is rude, sarcastic very unprofessional and the customer service is atrocious.
