Comments:

I have been flying to Bangkok very often for the last 10 years. My experience of flying have never been as bad as the mentioned flight. Points to mention: Before even taking off the one toilet is leaking water and urine. The carpet in front of the toilet and going down the isle is drenched. The smell in the cabin is so bad that we have to sit with perfume in front of our noses in order not to vomit of the smell. An airhostess notices this and then sprays the cabin with airfreshner. Another toilet can not be used because the latch is not working. It is taped heavily with brown packaging tape. The airconditioning was faulty. We asked the attendant why the plane was so hot she said that the airconditioning had to be switched on and off because it could not keep the temperature constant. We asked the attendants for water to take a tablet. After asking three times for the same thing I swallowed the pill without water. When they eventually served refreshments they skipped numerous people in the rows around us. The passengers actually got up and asked the attendant to serve them drinks. We asked for ice, as the drinks were very hot. Got no ice. Got up and fetched our own ice from the gully. My headset was not working so for six hours I could not watch or listen to anything. As you can see now this flight was not on par with the requirements of the aviation authorities. I think that a toilet leaking urine and water is a serious health issue. I will be awaiting your urgent reply in this matter. Thanking you for your time. Mrs. Amour van den Heever.
