Fisher Paykel dishwasher dish drawers

Our Fisher Paykel dishwasher failed 3 times under warranty(each time a

different problem). A few months out of warranty it failed again.

After a repair of $429 it worked for about a year and then failed

again. We have just come back from buying a new American made

dishwasher as a replacement for this piece of junk. We never had a

problem with the builder's model that we used for 15 years previous to

our Fisher Paykel. The Fisher Paykel is just a pretty face.

I just had the repairman out for the 3rd time in 3 years. Now I need a "board" that was fryed before they can figure out what even caused it to fry. My F&P dryer has a motor going out on it. I don't know if I should spend the $200 for the board or apply the money to a new dishwasher!?

I will never buy Fisher Paykel again. Junk!

I couldn't agree more. My 3 year old unit has a bad pump and I can not get anyone to service it and the F&P USA office in Huntington Beach California is one of the worst! They are not at all concerned about whether their customers get any assistance and don't return calls or even emails promptly. I am buying a new dishwasher today and it will NOT be an F & P. It cleaned well but I will not support bad customer service.
