Sir,

I have purchased a washing machine on 15.05.2006 at Chennai (Model No. 7234, Serial No. INB 061700673) and now I am residing at Kariakal (Union Territory of Puducherry). I had felt electrical shock from metal parts (as at the end of suction tube) as well as water while having physical contact when the machine is on run. This complaint was registered at your branch office in Coimbatore (as done usually) during April, who inturn deputed a service personnel from Villupuram (Tamil Nadu- Sakthi Service centre) on 10.04.2007. The service man had informed me that there is nothing wrong with the machine and the earthing is improper. I was asked to rectify the defect which I had attended immediately. In spite of that the same problem exist with the machine and since then I had to phone up almost 10 times to the branch office at Coimbatore and to the service personnel.

Atlast he had visited me on 14.05.2007 and promised me that the one of the parts with the water inlet need to be replaced and the same would be done on 16.05.2007. Till this moment it had not been attended to. As the problem is not to be taken lightly (shock observed) necessary action may be initiated to rectify the defect at once. Further you are also requested to take necessary steps/action for timely action from the authorised service personnel. Such irresponsible persons may be eliminated from the chain, which is otherwise likely to spoil the customer relation.
