Anybody who has used their services or plans on using their "so-called" services.....

MUST READ THIS!!!

 

I inquired via internet about automobile shipping for my car from Honolulu Hawaii to Oakwood Illinois. I recieved 5 different quotes form different companies. I chose one and gave them a call, they did not get back to me before I got an e-mail and a call from All American Auto Transport's representative named Alex Whittaker. He convinced me of their service and promised that it would be easy and competatively priced. I decided to go with them after all. My car made it to Long beach California and then the trouble started. It arrived there and was available for pick-up on May 3rd 2007. I called All American Auto Transport to ask why they had not picked my car up. Tina the customer service representative said to me "We did not get the message from Matson". "If you had not called us who knows how long your car would have been there". That is not an acceptable answer. They are not doing what they are contracted to do. She then told me that she had just sent a Driver to go pick it up and that he would be there in Long Beach in 3 days. I called Matson today May24th 2007 to ask if my car had been picked up. It is still there this very moment. My car has been available for 3 weeks to be picked up. I called All American Auto Transport to ask why they had not picked up my car. Tina had lied to me, she said that they had no drivers available until after Memorial day. She never sent a driver the first time. I called her on her lie and she got rude with me. No action was taken at all from All American Auto Transport to deliver my car to my door in Oakwood Illinois what-so-ever. I asked for her supervisor, she told me that he had no number and that he was in and out of the office and could not be reached. This company does not care for their customers or their reputation. I still do not know when I am getting my car. THEY ARE NOT DOING WAT I AM PAYING THEM TO DO. DO NOT USE ALL AMERICAN TRANSPORT TO SHIP YOUR VEHICLES! I am next going to call the attourny Generals office and the Better business bureau to make sure this does not go un-noticed. I have found several complaints on the internet almost identical to my situation, with very similar circumstances. All American Auto Transport needs to be delt with harshly. They are hurting the people that pay their bills and put food on their plates, I dont understand why they dont care for their clients in the least. Thank you for taking the time to read this.

I also had a bad experience with this company. I contracted with them 2 years in a row to move my auto from Michigan to Alabama. The first year, after many communication problems with them (they sent the mover 3 days before the estimated pick up date without notifying us) we did get moved. Why I went with them again this year, I will always regret. They did not return telephone calls or email as I attempted to find out their progress. About a week before the date of pick-up, with no contact from them, we called another company and got a mover right away. We paid American Auto a $180 deposit which they have refused to return. They broke the contract agreement, but have accused me of breaking the contract. This company has no interest in serving customers. Once they get your deposit, they wash their hands of you and make up "Acts of God" or "forces of nature" to excuse themselves. My advice-deal directly with the trucking companies and forget these contractors like American Auto. You won't have to pay a deposit, and you get better and friendlier service.
