Clarksburg, CA 95612 Postal Office Complaint

Gentlemen:

This is a complaint about the Clarksburg, CA Post Office Zip 95612. We live in a rural area. About four and a half miles from the town of Clarksburg. I come from a farming family going back four generations. The post office has always been competent over the years and during Post Master changes there has been little or no bumps. We got our mail delivered on time and very rarely was there a miss delivered letter belonging to residents along the route. But alas, the delivery incompetence has gotten out of hand. The main delivery person, Trina, has been the last straw. I will list these examples as only a few of her failures to maintain the integrity of the US Postal Service. Refused to deliver mail on account she felt it was an inconvenience because she would have to make a detour. The local school busses had no problem. Is this a problem? The "temporary post master" attitude is "It's Trina." As a former business owner and employer of many employees it has been my experience to train and retrain the employee until the problem is resolved or as the last resort the employee is terminated!!

Example, It took 44 days for American Express to receive our payment. We can prove this. Was the payment lost, I think not, lost in the Clarksburg Post Office or her car!! Delivery mail person Trina cannot read mail! This has been proven over and over to us and many other residents of this Zip Code.

We are always receiving other peoples mail. She has not been trained to read mail. She probably sorts the mail for delivery and is very "Slap Happy" about it.

The temporary post master has made it quite clear to the residents of Clarksburg that it is beneath him to stand behind the counter and meet the public's needs. He stated when he arrived about one year ago this was a "temp posting." Between the incompetent mail carrier and the I don't care temporary post master, our nice little 95612 Post Office is in dire need of an internal investigation.
