Tiscali Broadband [Scanned] I have been a loyal customer with Tiscali for about 3 years now. I was a broadband customer with free evening and weekend calls, but after a year I cancelled the broadband as my son left home and I didn't have a PC. I continued with Tiscali Talk and in November I switched my line rental to them also. Three weeks ago I rang the customer service line to apply for Broadband again. They took all my details and told me that they would send the package within 7 to 10 days. After 10 days I heard nothing so I contacted them again only to be told there was no record of my order. They gave me another number to ring and in all I had to ring 4 times, sometimes to numbers I had already called, before eventually someone looked into my existing account details and tried to tell me that because I was a Tiscali talk customer already it caused problems with signing up with Broadband. We were then cut off so I had to ring back and when I told another advisor the story he advised me that being an existing customer would not create problems and he took my order manually stating that because I was a previous Broadband customer it could not be done on the computer. He ensured me that the order would definitely go through. I telephoned 6 days later to check that everything was going through only to be told once again there was no trace of my order. The advisor spoke to his supervisor and then told me they had done an audit and my order was going through but I had to ring technical support to find out what was happening. I rang them which was an automated message telling me to ring customer services who told me they couldn't help me. In the end I was so angry I told them I was cancelling my order and I would be cancelling my line rental and Tiscali Talk also. Today I have signed up with BT broadband again and I have asked them to take my line rental back. I will never sign up with Tiscali again.
