rebate Issues Office Depot
To whom it may concern.
Regard this letter as my answer to the appalling service I have received from your company for the last five months. In January of this year, I purchased a computer from one of your stores in Corpus Christi, Texas. I was told by the sales clerk that a rebate was offered on the one I wanted to buy. Unenthusiastically, I made the purchase, as I have never trusted rebate programs to begin with. After filling out my rebate form, spending additional monies for postage, and placing myself in the inept hands of your company, I received only debauchery and uncaring from your company. It is now my goal to inform as many of my fellow business owners to avoid your store due to your incompetency. I know you are a very large and powerful concern. This however will not prevent my informed friends as well as me from seeking other avenues of procuring office supplies and equipment. If you have a special purchase on your in store items, absorb the rebate yourself and show a customer the savings up front. Here is the communication verbatim from your customer relations department. “I will have my department pay for the $250. Hewlett Packard never got back to me. The only submission I found from their website was for $50. That is all I am showing. You can expect the check in 2 weeks, if not sooner, I asked for a rush on it. “ Sincerely, Jackie Zuniga Sr. Customer Relations Assistant Executive Customer Relations Office Depot, Inc.
