Maytag Stove

Maytag Stove hello please help-Maytag refuses to fix my stove!
bought a maytag stove - fridge and nuptune washer and dryer when we moved into our new house in June of 2005.
Recently the oven broke - but the burners and broiler still work (big bonus hahahaha)
NOTE: we are not chefs or master bakers we barely use the thing!
Stainless Steel Stove with Black Coated Burner Grates I am not getting down on my knees to look at model # etc AGAIN! This was not a cheap oven - we bought the "best" from thier product line because we had some cash from our home sale. WHAT A RIP-OFF! If I would had gone and bought some cheap $200 no name oven somewhere it would last for 40 years without problem! However, Maytag warranty only covers a year. Which I feel is due to thier shoddy materials and lack of confidence in thier so called "quality" appliances! I am greatly concerned because I have the house now filled with thier product. What may be lurking around the corner?
Not to mention - ((((Clearing throat ))) LISTEN UP MAYTAG---I have thousands not hundreds of dollars worth of your product in my house!
Stainless Steel Stove with Black Coated Burner Grates - First thing I noticed with the stove is 1) NEVER BUY ANYTHING BY MAYTAG! 2) It is impossible to keep clean! 3) The burner grates are covered with a black coating which when used at average use - are now chipping and discoloring! BEWARE! 4) Now 6 months out of warranty the oven broke! They refuse to fix it without cost to me! My understanding is that the problem "may" be the ignition starter blah blah blah! which of course everyone at MAYTAG refused to tell me for fear that if something else was wrong I would come back and haunt them....I figured it was the starter with the help of the appliance department at Colders. - I haven't got it fixed yet - so I do not know if that is the actual problem- either way I know it will cost a fortune to fix and the service call will be more then a drop in a bucket! 5) Maytag makes you spend HOURS on the phone and you MUST tell your story to everyone they connect you to for me it was 5 subpar employees who mumbled, didn't have a clue, weren't in the right department, told me they would follow me to the department and explain the problem to the next operator but didn't and even connect me to a guy who says "Oh wow you really aren't suppose to even be connected to me!" Do they not have a computer system that every employee can read from? 6) when you finally get a so called "supervisor" I believe her name was NELLY she will be nasty and customer service goes out the window! It took me at least an hour to get her after the transfering and explaining to the other so called employees and in the end I told her (NELLY) to have a crappy day and enjoy her crummy job. SHE WAS VERY NASTY TO ME FROM THE BEGINNING! before I even had a chance to get angry!
SO- I am at the point of strapping this stove on my back and personally delivering it to the front door of some over paid CEO's house! and telling whomever to keep thier "JUNK" because it doesn't do me any good and was a waste of THOUSANDS not HUNDREDS of dollars!
If anyone is willing or able to help with this situation please feel free to contact me - I am looking so VERY forward to any and all MAYTAG peoples contacting me! The item is only 6 months out of warranty - come on- give me a break!!!!

Last week it began trying to ignite a burner all by itself! After the clicking continued for a while, there was a flash and smoke poured out from under the cooktop. The only way to stop it was to throw the breaker. This is a gas stove, so there was a definite fire hazard! It seems the igniters controls are positioned in such a place that any water will cause them to malfunction. Hmm.. let's see.. when I cook, there's no steam or moisture present now is there? Whirlpool sent out a tech from A&E Factory Service to do a "safety inspection" He turned out to be a 1-man wrecking crew who totally disabled my stove and broke 2 additional parts in the process. Then he had the nerve to want approx. $1000 to fix all the damage. I'm about to cut my losses and sell it for scrap! Maytag should not be able to sell a stove that will break and be a fire hazard during normal use!! On the power boost side, the paint bubbled and peeled on the original grate. Maytag sent me a replacement and the same thing happened to it! Then they made me buy the next one. I kept the original grate (stove was bought in May 06) and am headed to the library to research a name to send it to! They told me they had no complaints about this but now I know better!
