AOL America on line internet services

AOL America on line internet services : My complaint is directed to AOL. I was erroniously overcharged for services and I called their customer service department to alert them and request a refund. They directed me to write a letter to the corporate offices. I did that and received NO reply. I called back to customer service and was given a number to fax a letter detailing my problem. I did that and after two weeks received a letter stating that the writer had tried to call me unsuccessfully. I question that assertion since I have an answering machine and no call was recorded. This person gave me a phone number to call and ask for him. I have done that four times and continue to get an answering device. I leave messages and no one returns my calls. I talked with the operator at AOL and she stated that she had only that number to connect me to in the Executive Escalations Department. Can you suggest to me how I should proceed with this complaint. I have a name but no further access to this person since he is protected from direct contact by a phone system that is definitely not geared to help customers. I do prefer to handle this by phone since mail is totally ignored then again, so is the phone. How do you penetrate this wall of indifference? Dian Paulson Email User
