charter one bank

Charter One Bank, Maple Heights, Ohio.

i opened an account 2 weeks ago (checking and savings). i put in two

checks. one on 3/2 and one on 3/3 totalling over $800. now they are

telling me that i have to wait 5 days to get any of my money. i wasn't told

about this policy when i opened the account. i have called the bank and

customer service and they basically am out of luck. so now i have to live a

week without any money. plus, i used my debit card for a credit purchase

that will be charging me for money i have but dont have which will add

charges. this seems extremely unfair to me. i was supposed to pay rent and

now i cant because they are holding it. i will be out of an apartment if i

dont get to my money. what can i do?
