I recently had my taxes prepared at H&R Block in Linden, N.J as I did the previous year.Unfortunatley, I was banged up $297.00 for fees. I am astonished by these fees considering I only paid about $160.00 last year and that was including the 2 day rapid refund.I reported this outrageous amount to H & R Blocks main headquarters and was told they would contact me back in 3-5 days that was a week ago and I still have not received a call back. I have spoken to many other people who had their taxes done by them also who have paid amounts that they considered strange.I do not appreciate a company who picks and chooses who they are going to rip off that week, on top of waiting till all the paper work is filled out to suprise you with your monstrous bill. It is an unethical and unprofessional manner. I expect an apology and a full refund of these ludicrous fees or I'll have no choice than report this to local news to further investigate these and other claims.
