I am having some trouble getting assistance from Tracfone, and I was

wondering if you could help.


I have been going around and around with telephone and email support,

none of which has been helpful.

Telephone support just passes the buck all around (I think I spoke

with the supervisor of the supervisor of the supervisor of the

supervisor - I kid you not), who finally told me they would call back

within 24 hours. That was a few days ago


Here is the situation:



My one year of service time was going to expire on March 17, 2007, so

I knew I had about 2 weeks to renew.


On Feb. 28, I went to the tracfone website and found this:

I thought this was a great deal, getting the standard 250 minutes

that come with the one year plan AND 200 bonus minutes AND a free phone.


We already have the Nokia 1100 phone, which we keep in the car for

emergencies.

My mom is elderly, and in very poor health, so we thought it would be

a great idea for her to be able to carry around a phone at all times.

She is 77 and falls sometimes (the last time she was alone and had to

stay on the floor for 45 minutes until someone happened to come by).

She is very unsteady on her feet and must use a cane or walker.


Anyway, when I clicked on the "buy now" button, it took me to a page

that said "offer ends Feb. 27".

I went ahead and ordered the 1 year service, because it said the

extra minutes offer ended Feb 28, the day I placed my order.

But the next day, March 1, the SAME deal with the free phone and

bonus minutes was there on the website, but when I clicked on "buy

now" on March 2, it took me to a page that said the offer expires May

31st!



This was evidently a mistake since:

a) the offer was being displayed on the home page the day I placed my

order, Feb 28.

b) I had a code that said it was valid until Feb 28 for the extra

minutes & phone deal mentioned above.

c) the previous offer was for the month of Feb, and the "new" offer

was for the months March, April and May!!

Surely I did not place my order on the ONE DAY this year that this

deal was invalid???


I really hope they will make some kind of adjustment so we can

receive the free Motorola V170 phone, which we should be entitled to

by purchasing a year of service. My mom could REALLY use this phone.
