xbox 360 Filed against : Microsoft Xbox 360 division one microsoft way Redmond WA 98052 Complaint Description: I had purchased an Xbox 360 in June of 2006. It had broke on its own in November 2006. I paid 100 (roughly) to have it fixed. They sent me a different xbox 360 in December which never worked correctly from the beginning. I was told with the refurbished system they sent me that I had a 1 yr warranty. I Also have a letter from XBOX. I called today to have my system fixed again and I was told that I was out of warrantly by Keri (the supervisor). I asked how that was possible since I was told that I had a year and she replied that microsoft doesnt honor any warranty either verbal or written, and that its not 1 yr anymore, they decided it was now 3 monthes (which would put me out of warranty). I was never previously told my warranty was now reduced to 3 monthes. They want me to pay another $140 to get my box fixed...again. I dont understand that if I have a letter from Xbox, and was told over the phone that I had an extended warranty, how they could change and make me pay again. _____ See what's free at AOL.com.
