Bell Canada and Sympatico that are both under the same company (Bell) are terrible in billing. I often have problems with their billing and it's always being over charged, or charged for an item I didn't have. It keeps repeating and they are so slow to respond and take care of things. I have to call, e-mail or fax never get attention. It is getting very unnerving to deal with the same type of issue over and over again.

 

I had so many instances that I started doubting if these incidents are not completely accidental. Maybe I'm paranoid but it keeps happening. I have to fight and call and wait to get my money back. I got rid of Bell home phone but I want to keep Sympatico because it is the fastest internet in here.

 

I only mention the last incident: I renewed my contract with them and next month I get charged double, instead of the promised lower price. So, I check the bill which is not the discounted price, and an added "Other charges" item. So I called and waited and talked to a person, asking what is this Other charges and she mumbles something that I should have been charged but she removes it?? It is not in the contract and never has been, anyway I let that go. I am still being charged full price instead of discounted price (which is the whole point of the contract) so I have to call back again and see what is their problem this time.

 

How is it that other companies that I deal with don't have this issue and only Bell has them? Why don't they fix the problems?
