help I went to the Laser & Dermatology Institute of California, in Covina for a consultation for a cosmetic skin treatment. I was told their facility was the only one in the state that offered such treatment with their special lasers. I decided to go with their treatment without further research since I had gone to the same doctor to remove 2 tattoos I had in the early 90's. It was brought to my attention from a medical doctor friend of mine that there are other local facilites in California that offers the same treatment with the same lasers at 1/3 OF THE COST. I do not want to continue going to this doctor. I have received 2 treatments from him and want to get my money back minus the 2 sessions I received. The office REFUSES & states that I signed the consent form stating that there were no refunds allowed (conveniently not given to me with the other copies of the finance papers). I FEEL I WAS MISLED and MISINFORMED! I don't know what to do. I had to finance the 11 sessions at $9000. I called another doctor in W. LA. and he says that he offers the same treatment at $200/session which equals to $2200 total. This is a $6,800 difference. To top it off their staff was very rude to me and did not answer any of my questions until I got mad and asked for my money back. I don't want this to be an expensive mistake learned - I want justice!
