I purchased the oyster model phone from a Virgin Mobile store 2/7/07, and have had nothing but trouble with the phone since I've had it. 1st the # key pad would not work; 2nd the phone just kept going out, unable to use and I had to keep taking the battery off and putting it back on to attempt to use the phone; 3rd then it went completely out, when I plugged it in the message read this phone service is off. I however brought a $20.00 pre pay card, that had $15.81 left on it at the time. On the 4th return to the store with the phone, I was told they did not have any more phones, so I was therefore given a refund for the phone. I called in and requested to transfer the remaining minutes to my grandson's phone and was told by Irena it would be no problem, yet when I called in to make the change I spoke to an arrogant Felecia who told me this change could not be done, when I asked for her supervison Karen, she was just as arrogant and abrupt at Felecia. I was the paying customer, who was having problems with one of your products and should have been treated with a little, ( i won't even say respect) how about just a little customer care. At any rate I was able to speak to Ashley in another dept. who not only took care of the problem so I would not be loosing my money but she was very courteous while doing so. I mentioned to her maybe she could give some pointers on customer service to her co-workers. I personally would never buy another one of your products due to improper function, and poor customer service, and intend to let all of my friends and family members, those that don't already know of my problem to not buy this service either. This has been a terrible experience, and could have been just a tad bit better if your customer service dept. had been a little more professional.
Cordially,
An Irate/Dissatisfied/ Ex-customer
Mrs. T
P.S. Ashley was very apologetic for my bad experience and for the way I was treated by the other two females, when it wasn't her fault, but that's called team effort in customer care. Karen or Felecia didn't care one way or the other, there was no money coming out of their pockets, nor was it an inconvienence to either of them.
