To Whom It May Concern;

 

I am notifying you in regards to the customer service I recieved at one of your store locations. The address of this Sally's Beauty Supply is 9625 MISSION GORGE RD #C1

SANTEE, CA 92071-0000. I have been a customer of yours for quite some time but I will tell you that I will not go back to this store again which is unfortunate because I live in this area. This is the reason why, on the evening of March 29th at 7:55pm I decided to make a quick stop to this store in search of barrettes for a special occassion. I am in the process of planning a wedding and know that you do carry these things for hair. I preceded to enter the store, the door was open, and immediately found my way to the barrette stand and began to take a quick browse. I was greeted by a girl of about 16 who greeted me instantly. I was in the store for about half a minute when all of a sudden I heard a voice from another girl who apparently was stooped behind the counter rise and say "actually were closed". The girl appeared to be in her 20's, with visible studs in her face. I said to this girl "oh, you close at 8". She said yes and impolitely said "Sorry". The time was not yet 8 and the door to the store was wide open. I actually was very offended by this. Not only do you not treat customers this way you don't treat people this way, period. It's like inviting someone into your house and saying "Uh, no, you gotta go now". She really humiliated me. Working in the customer service field for many years I think the correct thing she should have done was lock the door, at 8, and politely tell me that the store does close at 8 and let me do my business quickly, which I would have done. Instead this woman incompetentely did her job and treated me like a second class citizen. I couldn't believe it. I walked out of this store very upset. When I got to my car to look at my clock it said 7:59. Needless to say I will not go there again and I will post this on complaints.com. I have also told some friends who agreed this woman was very rude. I hope you will take the initiative to educate your employees a little more about customer service because you just lost one.
