Ford Motor company Ford motor company. I ordered a catalytic converter from Fordparts.com on March 8th. They are not my problem. Ford motor company is, there is not one front catalytic converter anywhere for 2002 Ford Escape. The supplier who makes them for Ford is behind on orders. First I was told the part would be shipped on March 28. Now I was told through email it is now due to be shipped on 4/21/07. My car does not run. This is crazy that Ford can't get one part made for me. Within the last year I have had to have the catalytic converts replaced 3 times. The Ford tech's cant figure out what is causing the problem. Now they are going to send a gas sample to Ford and if it comes back bad they will not fix my car anymore. What kind of a rip off is this, there are many others with 2002 Escapes having the same problem as me.
