Citi Credit Protector

To whom it may concern:

I am writing to warn anyone who might be interested in citibank credit protector that it could be just a waste of you money. Also, I am writing to see if there is anyone other than myself want to sue this liar. My case is as follows,

I have been enrolled since Fall 1999, and have been paying the protection fee for 7 years. Although I didnt see little chance I will need it, but I decided to enroll in it because it was said to be free after you pay the fee for 84 consecutive months (7 years) and never activated any benefits. So, it sounded not hurt anyway.

However, they sent me in Oct 2005 (after 6 years of enrollment) a letter saying that they were changing the policy, removing the option of free protection. But they said " you can call this 1-888 number to opt out the change and remain on the old policy." I called two times, to opt out and to make sure I was opted out..... then I thought everything is fine, and I kept paying the fee.

Since December 2006, I have been calling more than 20 times to fight for the free protection. Now it is the end of March, and I had to cancell it to avoid paying more fee. They are just scam. They kept telling me they are reviewing my account and the materials I faxed to them (I faxed the enrollment letter, the policy change letter, and the name of the person I called in Oct 2005 to opt out the change). They have been reviewing for months... and I ended up paying.

Although I dont have any direct experience that they dont honor the other benefits they promised, but this free protection is also what they promised ... they never wanted to honor.

My call usually got transferred between many persons, and I got really mad every time I called... Now, I am preparing to file a case in court now. I just wnat to request back what I have paid.... Acutally, I want to know if anyone else want to file a case together? Lets unite and fight with this LIAR.
