I purchased a queen size mattress and foundation from Ergo-Pedic in January 2005. I had a rather positive experience with the items purchased until last year when the foundation started squeaking. My husband and I rotated the mattress in hope that the problem would be fixed, but it didn’t work. After several rotations, I noticed that the problem was really with the foundation. When I placed my hand on it and put a little bit of pressure, the foundation squeaked. So, I went into my files and looked up the warranty information which states that the products are covered for 20 years. I then proceeded to call Ergo-Pedic and was told that I would have to fax them a description of the problem and a copy of the receipt, which I did on January 4, 2007. After about three weeks of failed phone calls (no one would pick up the phone, or the voice mail messages), I spoke to someone who told me I would be able to exchange the foundation. As happy as I was, we scheduled a delivery for a weekend later. Yet, no one showed up. The foundation was supposed to be delivered between 9 and 11 am , and I waited until 2pm, all to no avail. It’s been almost two months now and I have not been able to speak with a live person. I’ve called and left messages on several occasions, and have yet to receive a response. At one point, the voice mailbox was full.

The bottom line is that Ergo-Pedic not only has poor customer service, but also produces faulty products and fails to adequately compensate its customers for it. Ergo-Pedic has given me the run-around for almost three months now and I now feel that I should have bought a Tempur-Pedic mattress instead.

I have read a lot of reports about Ergo-Pedic both positive and negitive. I tried one in a nice hotel while on vacation. It was wonderful. I ordered one. I redceived it one week later. The bed has done wondersx for my back. It really has been wonderful. I would highly recommend it, if you can get one.
