FTD flower order screwed up

FTD flower order screwed up

I would like to complain about the following company--Floral Originals By Gregory Scotte, 8634 Wilshire Blvd

Beverly Hills, CA 90211.

I ordered the FTD Anniversary Bouquet AB-06 from their site, floral originals.com, on Wednesday, March 21, at my sons' request; to be sent to his wife at her place of work for their 1st year wedding anniversary. He wanted at least a dozen roses. This bouquet has 15 red roses with white alstroemeria, and a glass and metal vase--a truly gorgeous arrangement. He called me at the end of the work day and said the flowers that came were some sort of lily with only 3 roses. I placed a call to the company and was told that I got what I ordered, the AB-06. I said no, it only had 3 roses. She said yes, that's what it was, stargazer lilies and 3 roses. I said that's not what I ordered. Then she said what I was talking about was last years' anniversary bouquet and they change them every year so I must have punched in the wrong numbers for it. She also said they was looking at the site and it was the one that I ordered was the stargazer lilies. AB-07. And there was nothing she could do about it. She was borderline rude, and I hung up.

I went to the computer and brought up the site, grabbed the portable phone and called again. A young man answered and I went through it again with him. He pulled up the website and saw the bouquet that I was talking about, and agreed that it said AB-06. The stargazer one was listed as AB-05, and for a different price. He didnt know what else to do so he took my name and number and promised to have someone call me back. No one ever did.

I called again the following day. I talked to another female. She pulled up the site and saw what I was talking about. She said the site must be wrong, that no one must have updated it with the new info for the anniversary arrangements. I asked how was I to know that when ordering?? This year is a third over, surely someone keeps track of that stuff?? Well she didnt know what to do either, and took my name and number again. No call. I went back to the website, copied the pages with the flowers, and sent an email to the customer service department. I have not received any kind of answer or acknowledgement.

My son was very disappointed. Roses have special meaning to him since they have been a part of his relationship with his new bride since they met 8 years ago in high school.

This company touts that it is "florist to the stars". I guess the "little people" do not merit the attention or customer service offered to "the stars". The also tout a customer satisfaction guarantee, and that's certainly not evident in this transaction. I paid almost eighty dollars for a bouquet that was nothing like what I asked for, through no fault of my own OR the local florist who delivered them. I've been given the run-around, lied to, ignored, and told it was my mistake.

The website to this day shows both bouquets, and the AB-06 is exactly the same one I ordered and expected to get.

There is no place on the FTD website for a customer to complain about a florist. I hope something can be done here.

I am a florist in Cathedral City, Ca

I was reading this complaint and the one below it. It is very sad that this things keep happening. Here is a number that might help you with your problem.

1-800-788-9000 that's customer service.

They should be able to help you resolve this matter or at least offer you some sort of credit on the flower shops behalf. If it makes you feel any better, we florist get rated with ftd for overall customer satisfaction. The more good ratings you have the more orders you get. Just a piece of advice, If you ever order flowers from a flower shops website make sure you call that shop first and make sure they can fill the order as described then tha florist can assure you they have the product or they'll tell you what they have to substitute. Here at 2Lips Flowers we always go to the website as the customer is on the phone and make sure we can fill order if we do not have product we suggest something else and the customer can see on our site what we're talking about, that way they always know what they are getting. We also offer picture proof of arrangement when it's made and another of recipient holding arrangement if recipient is ok with their picture being taken. Hope this helps. Fell free to call us with any other questions. We're always happy to be of assistance. Maria ( 2lips Flowers N' Gifts) 760-202-8444

I'm also looking for a way to complain to FTD about a florist. I ordered a beautiful tasteful arrangement for a funeral service and what was delievered was grotesque. The vase was to be white with a silver cross. It came in a watebasket with a large twig cross sticking up 2 feet! The flowers weren't the same either. I'm very embarrassed that this was delivered to this family. I want to know how to complain to FTD that there is such a poor florist in their system.
