That will take you to the web-site where you will find you have a free book edition (you pay the postage) and you have to cancel or they keep sending you books forever! From: Message Author (click here to email author)Date: Tuesday, 15-Apr-08 08:33:36 CDT Business: Reply Online Consumer: Comment On This Comment On Thisi agree with all the complaints i've read on this site. got card, NO GIFT! I like the readers digest magazine, and i do not need free offers to continue with the magazine subscription, however free offers that are not really free offers are enough to make me reconsider my subscription. It would be a lot less frustrating to buy a magazine at the store when it has subject matter of interest. all this paper wasted on these offers and contests are not in the best interest of our living green. I am not very happy with readers digest and it does bring me some comfort to know i am not the only one. Perhaps a group cancellation would help show them the seriousness of these practices. They are totally making asses of their readers by promising a lot of things I, for one , have yet to hear or see anyone receive. Oh yes they have pictures of people receiving things , but actors do all sorts of gigs these days. I , in the past have tried to contact these so called winners & guess what , they dont have phone numbers. I realize a lot of people request their privacy , but in the last 40 years , all of them ??? I question this ! My point is , Readers Digest , quit plugging up my mail box with all your graffiti. cause that is what is is when its just a bunch of blarney !
