Unprofessional Security Guard in Gurney Plaza To whom it may concern,
I would like to file a complaint to Gurney Plaza Car Park Operations Top Management. On March 25, 2007,at 4.23pm, my car parking ticket was stolen by someone who just in a few minutes when we found out that we left the ticket in the auto-pay machine (at 5th floor) after paying RM5 for the parking fees. Immediately, my friend & I quickly seek for Gurney Security's help & reported to them the whole incident. Then, we were led by a security guard to Gurney Security Office and were told to wait outside for their investigation. After about 30mins, a lady guard shown us a CCTV record that we had paid the parking fees at the second auto-pay machine at 5th floor. We were so glad at that moment and thought that the smart security might help us to do something. But then, it was so disappointed that we were forced by Gurney security head (named R.Nanada Kumar, IC#740614-07-5749) to pay extra RM20 in order to buy a "lost ticket" and take our car out of the building. We were deeply depressed and tried to convince them so that they can help us to do something beneficial to us (such as to waive the RM20 extra charges, or to catch the thief who stolen my ticket as we could see her face clearly via the CCTV display), rather than just forcing us to pay the RM20 and do nothing there. At that moment, one of the security guard started to tease us by threatening us and saying that "you have to pay it, however, to get your car out of Gurney! ". We were so hopeless and felt so frustrated after hearing that. Thus, I requested to see their manager in order to get a reasonable solution as well as better service. I was told that their manager Eddy was on leave and asked me to come tomorrow if I wanted to get any refund of the RM20. I wanted to ask, why I must pay the extra RM20 since the CCTV has proven that I have already paid the parking fees and my ticket was actually stolen by a lady so clearly! I hope that Gurney's intelligent operation management can consider this case as an exemption case, and refund me RM20. Hope to get a prompt response from you. Besides of that, I am concern and would like to know how that the Gurney Plaza security team will improve their capability to solve or stop stolen cases happened in Gurney Plaza again?
