Academy Collection Service

I posted one complaint but it did not show up so here I go again. The collection agency has been calling for my fiance, (who works nights) so I have been trying to work things out with them for him. I told them that a payment would be made on 3/9/2007. The person I spoke with said he would note the account but for whatever reason he didn't. Now Mrs. Cook kept calling even though I told her I'd just had surgery and wasn't supposed to be up and that it wasn't the 9th yet so I couldn't understand why they were bothering me. Finally a man came to the phone and I went through the same thing with him until he hung up on me. I was so upset from trying to reason with them that some staples burst from my surgery and I had to return to the doctor the next day. I contacted an attorney and he said I have a good law suit on my hands if I want to proceed because my name is not even on the account.We along with half the country have had a rough year and are behind but are only able to do what we can. We are not dodging them, they just need to get their shit together and then know how to pick it up. If they hadn't hung up on me and listened to me this would already been resolved. Shame on people that can't act human!
