NCO Financial

Today, at 8:13 am NCO left a voice message on my phone, said they were attempting to collect a bad debt. The NCO caller gave me a reference number & instructed me to 800-511-8670, repeating the phone number twice. I'm not aware of any unpaid bills, nor have I received written notice of such.

When I searched the 800 number numerous NCO complaint sites appeared. I have not yet spoke to anyone from NCO, based on what I have read, I want to be prepared when they call again.

Complaints date as far back as 2002 - why are they still in business?

I am looking for advise from anyone who has been victimized by NCO.
