complaint re: FedEx and FedEx Kinkos

I filed a complaint with the BBB in Colorado Springs, CO regarding FedEx and FedEx Kinkos.

The FedEx Kinkos is located at 1201 Marina Blvd in San Leandro, CA.

This involves a computer and monitor that were brought to FedEx Kinkos to be: wrapped, protected, boxed, prepared for shipping and the shipped via FedEx.

The computer and monitor were badly damaged in transit.

The items were shipped on 01/19/2007... and have been in "limbo" ever since.

FedEx Kinkos was supposed to box up and ship the items so that they would arrive at the recipient location IN THE SAME CONDITION as when the items were brought to FedEx Kinkos.

They did not. The frame on the computer was bent. The hard drive was broken AWAY from the frame. Plastic and metal pieces were strewn throughout the box. The monitor was completely separated from the glass screen. Both items were essentially destroyed.

FedEx and FedEx Kinkos has not resolved this YET. In 3 days, it will be TWO months since the items were brought to Kinkos!

The declared value of the computer and monitor was $1,000.

FedEx Kinkos and FedEx have delivered ONLY incredibly BAD customer service!
