rude March 15th 2007 To whom it may concern we were at a Tim Horton's last Sunday and were treated very rudely by two of the women there. On the TV and on the paper cup I had to "roll up the rim" it states NO PURCHASE NECESSARY!!!!!!!!!!!!!! When the person I was with that HAD order a meal requested a cup she was refused and in a very way. I went up thinking I could discuss the problem with them and one went laughing off and the other gave me a an argument and pushed a long piece of paper at me with rules. These were rules if we had won something and on the back of that it also said NO PURCHASE NEEDED FOR A CUP!!!!!!!!!!!!! When I went back and showed the person they took off to the back room and came back five or ten minutes later and said it was orders from Head Office and there was not a thing they could do about it. I am a senior and we meet at Tim Horton's on a regular basis 20 or so and now feel that we will no longer do that because of the way I was treated. My pressure was 210/98 when I got home and it is up right now I can feel it and the women here at the TAG office said they notice I am upset ALL OVER A PAPER CUP, it is the principal of the thing. When it says NO PURCHASE NEEDED that is what it should be. I do not see a number on the sheet they gave me but it has on the top of one side Tim Hortons Roll up the Rim to Win Contest 2007. It is for the U.S. and Canada. This is a form for winners of big prizes not a simple paper cup. I would appreciate hearing from you in this regard. I do not have a computer but I do come in here to the TAG office and the Library to check on my e-mails. My e-mail address is Email User I will be back in a couple of days, thanking you in advance. I do think your employees should be asked to speak to the customers with a pleasant tone, I was not rude with them I just could not understand what the problem was. We both at that time had a meal it is not that we walked in off the street demanding a paper cup. I am seventy and my young friend was twenty seven. This is from a very disappointed senior who with others have enjoyed our meals at Tim Hortons but will have to make other arrangements.
