Targets return policy

All Target stores,

This message is for consumers about targets return policy. If you register at target for baby or wedding showers just know that the items you are receiving from family and friends must have a receipt or be on your purchase log of registered items. Otherwise, target will only allow two un-receipted returns in one year. They will scan your drivers license registering these returns.

This policy is obviously company motivated and completely horrible for consumers especially those that register at this store. As most people know you may get some people to buy on your list but many wander around and will buy whatever items they like. It is appalling that because I registered here I encouraged my family and friends to shop there and then can not return duplicate, new merchandise.
