DISH NETWORK SATELLITE - Billing

DISH NETWORK SATELLITE - Billing On July 7, 2006, we signed up with Dish Network for our TV service as where we had moved to they did not have cable or DSL. Our contract was for a monthly fee of $89.99 plus all taxes and fees for a contractual period of 18 months. We since have been informed that our subdivision now has cable. Well, everyone knows that if you sign a contract for a specific amount of time, your are legally bind to that time frame. If for some reason you break that contractual agreement, Dish Network will charge you $300.00 cancellation fees, but they don’t think anything of increasing your contractual amount and if you elect not to pay the additional increase they start charging you late fees….We just today received our bill for 2-26-07 through 3-25-07 with a letter attached to it telling us that because of increased television programming fees, our monthly cost will be increased by $5.00. I ask, where is the fairness? Shouldn’t I have the right to cancel without a cancellation fee? I went to the Dish Network website to see who the corporate officers where hoping to find a way to contact someone about this problem. Bobby Billman, Senior Vice President, DISH Network signed the letter, however, his name never appeared on the corporate list…If anyone out there has a name, number, or address that can be used to contact some one, I would be very grateful.
