Godrej Pentacool Refrigerator - Horrible from day one!

Hi,

Model: GFP 280 x/y

We bought this and our electric bills climbed up by 1000 rupees a month.

Doesn't keep anything cool. Lately, broke down completely.

Had to call the service rep, charged us 300 rupees. Has estimated repairs at over 2000 rupees.

It is not clear how such a hefty bill is being charged. On speaking to the service rep, he said we are lucky that it is so less.

This fridge has lot of problems and heavy bills are the order of the day.

All in all, I am not sure that we should pay 2-3 grand to repair this piece of junk.

Please DO NOT BUY Godrej. I visited the site. There is not even a customer section there to field your questions/complaints.

Pathetic company. I didn't see any other way to get back to the company other than this email.
