Funny Party Rental Depot, West Palm Beach, Florida - (561) 396-0389.

We reserved a bounce house for our son's 4th birthday party on 11 March 2007. I called the company a couple of days before the party to make sure that everything was in order, to make a payment, and to confirm out reservation. I told " Lynne" who took my order, that I was relying on this bouncehouse for our party of 17 four year old's. She confirmed that she had our booking and that this company was very reliable, organized and that she "promised " me that the bouncehouse would be set up as planned. She also said that they only accept payment on delivery - $ 159.00 cash. On the 11 March 2007 we waited and waited - no boucehouse and only an answer machine when we tried to call. As you can imagine our party was ruined with 18 very disappointed 4 year olds.We did not even receive a phonecall!!

When I tried to call the company to speak to the owner this morning, Lynne tried to avoid me by speaking in Spanish, hanging up a few times and again putting their answer machine on. She obviously did not want to take responsibility for her total lack of professionalism.

I WOULD LIKE TO LIST THIS COMPLAINT SO THAT OTHER FAMILIES RELYING ON GOOD SERVICE WOULD NOT HAVE TO GO THROUGH THE SAME MESS AS WE HAD TO. There are so many party companies in the phone book - hopefully parent can make better choices if they have a way to check and avoid the bad ones.
