Cingular Wireless

Cingular Wireless Well, I lost my cell phone last year and then I got a new RAZR for christmas. I was instructed to call Cingular and activate it, so I did just that. The Representative was generally helpful with a low level of sarcasm in her voice (A first for a Cingular Rep). Everything was going well until she activated the phone. The problem was is that she activated my sim card with my mom's phone number and not mine, rendering her phone useless. We switched SIM cards, but we still had the problem of activating my phone. The rep credited our account with money to buy a SIM card. We had to visit the nearest Cingular store (relatively far away) and they got me a new SIM card and activated the phone. Another example of a tech support incident was when I called them today to activate another phone. What I got was sarcasm and a rude Rep telling me to talk clearer and louder while she was talking at the same decibel as a mouse sqeaking. I'm extremely dissatisfied with Cingular's technical support and the company in general. - Charlie Melbye From: Message Author (click here to email author)Date: Saturday, 10-Mar-07 15:01:54 CST Business: Reply Online Consumer: Comment On This |
