Bank of America ATM Dispute My husband and I are currently in dispute with Bank of America in reference to an ATM transaction. We made a 1700.00 cash deposit at our local Bank of America, which is located in Pikesville, Maryland, and the bank claims that they did not receive the envelope which contained our money! Next, Bank of America reversed the transaction, claiming that they did not receive it in our envelope! I called the bank immediately, and they said they would do an investigation, and that I would receive paperwork in the mail to sign and return to them. Today, I received a letter stating that the deposit was keyed into the ATM machine, but the envelope was not received by the bank. We know that we deposited the envelope containing the money, and when asked what happened next in the process, we were told that a courier collected it. Now what do we do? Bank of America said that they would do another investigation, but what would be different this time around? We deposited it, yet the bank allegedly never received it. I don't know what took place in between, but we are sick about this. My husband and I have been customers of Bank of America since the 1980's, and we cannot believe this is happening to us.
