earthlink email problems - an end around play

Four phone calls to earthlink and 90 minutes on "live chat" most of which was spent waiting fot the earthlink chat person to respond.

So I googled Earthlink coporate offices and after some additional digging came up with the following:

EVP and CFO: Kevin M. Dotts

Their phone system uses "dial by name" as one of it's options. Dialing K-A-V-N-E-R gave no results. Dialing L-U-N-S-F-O-R-D was answered by Katrina Reduso (Name may be spelled incorrectly), Mr. Lundsford's Executive Assistant. She listened and then politely transfered me to Drew Garrett in Executive Relations. (1-800-719-4664 ext. 30132).

Drew is crediting our account, and cancelling our email account "at customer's request" instead of for non-payment (they never sent us a bill). If my problems don't go away I'll post again. But maybe calling the top will work for someone else too.
