I purchased an HD DVR from Direct TV about a year ago. Ever since the day I

got it, I've had technical problems with it: video and audio dropouts, and

pixilization. For those of you that have Directv, it's the same thing you

get in a REALLY heavy rainstorm. For nearly a year, I've had technicians come

out to the house, we've replaced the dish, the wiring and the receiver. The

satellite signal is as good as it could possibly be. After all that, the

quality has not improved. I was patient with them, up til this months bill when

they added a $70 charge for a "service call" that they refuse to take off.

 

Don't sign up for Direct TV, they may call you a "valued customer" but

that's all crap.
