United Recovery Systems

My name is Steven Sykes. About twice a week or so, I am getting phone =

calls from United Recovery Systems. The last 4 digits of my SSN do not =

match the last 4 of the person they are looking for. I do not have ANY =

bad debts from anywhere. Yet the calls continue......this has been going =

on for several months. How can I get this stopped?

Contact the Federal Trade Commission at www.ftc.gov and go to the consumer complaints section. Second, find out the name and address of the original creditor they are calling you about and write to THEM about the mix up on the account. Third, write all 3 major credit bureaus immediately regarding the mix up.

Then write to URS at 5800 N Course Dr, Houston, TX 77072-1613 and tell them to cease and desist contacting you. By law, once they receive this letter, they can't call you nymore, and if they do, report them to the FTC.
