directway/hughes net satellite internet Directway/Hughesnet internet We had their service for over 14 months at a charge of 101.99 a month, we were only able to access the service for about 4 months. They offered no tech support, no repair people, even though the problem was with a transformer. Really bad deal!!! Then we cancelled the service on two different occasions. They would stop the debits for a few months and then start debiting again. This happened on two different occasions!!! Their response was since we could not provide the cancellation # we were not eligible for a refund!! Even though their computer showed we called to cancel. Very SHADY group!!! I had service for 1 week, wouln't work. Took 3 months of calls, e-mails, and letters to get a refund for the returned 3 day old transmitter. Costed me 100.00 per day of service slower than aol dial up. Guarantee says you will get a refund of $200. of the over $400. paid, in 6-8 weeks after they receive the equipment back.
