I am a general contractor who bought $1000 worth of insulation at the HD =

in October 2006, primarily because of the promise of $225 rebate.=20

I gathered all the requisite documents, and submitted them well before =

the deadline.

Their literature said to wait 10-12 weeks, which put me into January =

2007.

Well, their computer check had no record of me at the end of the =

submission period. =20

I made several calls in Jan., Feb and March of 2007, where they asked me =

for SKUs, Promotional codes, receipt numbers, and various other =

information, and I still didn't appear in their "system". =20

In May, a CR finally said I needed to resubmit the whole package =

electronically. I put together .pdfs of all of my receipts and my =

original form submission, .jpegs of my SKUs from the packaging, and =

emailed to their contact email. They said to wait five days. That was =

two weeks ago, and I am still not "in their system" - there is no record =

of my name or address in the computer.

What a screwball scam! If they hadn't put so many of my old suppliers =

out of business here in Seattle, I'd never walk in their big box again. =

I'd sure like to give them a black eye for all the trouble they've =

caused me!
