Direct TV Dallas TX

On April 14, 2007 I called Direct TV for service since my contract with Dish Network ( that's' another story) was set to expire May 1 which would result in my paying a higher premium for Dish. The Direct TV Agent took all of my information which I swear was more than required to purchase my house or car. After all the paper work on their end and they had my first born

we were able to schedule an installation date. The day decided was May 1, 2007 between 0800 and 12 noon. The installation dept, even called the night before to reconfirm. The next day I heard from installation person that they would arrive shortly. Shortly before noon I again received a call from technician stating that due to heavy traffic and something else had come up that it would be later that afternoon when he arrived. I informed him that I had taken a 1/2 day off from work and one one would be here therefore just cancel my instantiation.

On May 12,2007 I again called Direct and was rescheduled 6/5 between 0800 and 12n. Again I took a 1/2 day off. The Direct TV installation dept again called me the evening before to reconfirm. On ^65 I again waited and waited. At 1230 I sent Direct TN an email which to this date I have never received a reply nor heard from their installation or sales department. My next step is to find identity of Direct TV and file a suite for lost time and wages with the Small Claims Court. If anyone knows who to contact at Direct TV, the information would be appreciated. Just another example of America's Customer Service..

Copies of this complaint will be sent to my local newspaper, BBB and any other service that may have an interest.

P.S.

I am now paying $55.00 more per month for Dish Network since the one year contract has expired and I have not had the time to research the cable company I will be using
