I would like to warn anyone that goes to Glamour shots to do their homework

on pricing before going. I had a birthday party for my daughter there, and

got some photos of my other daughter as well. The make-up and hair was

great, as was the photographer. The "friendliness level" could not be

higher. After approximately 4 hours, I needed to spend another hour to

review the photos. I loved the results. The problem was that I could not

get straight answers about pricing. When I asked about specific prices, I

would hear about packages and features, and they were very evasive about my

questions.

When I got my prints back, some of the "features" that they described

(pearlized paper, glamour touch) had not been applied. I had paid $45 for 2

pictures that were not part of the package, but $100 for pictures that were

part of the special discounted package. The friendliness level was

completely gone, and they were quite annoyed with me for asking questions.

I told them that I refused to pick up my prints until they could explain why

I paid $45 for prints not in the package, and $100 in the package. They

called me the next day and said that they made a mistake, and did refund a

portion of my money.

In summary, I was pleased with the results, but extremely frustrated with

their sales pitch, and evasiveness. WARNING - Do your homework on the

prices and demand to see a list before the shoot. Be prepared to spend 2

hours more then they say you will be there, and review the invoice very

carefully before signing.
