Freezone.com This company claims that if you give them your email address you'll get an Xbox 360. After you do so, you have to give them your personal information and then sign up for advertisers offers. I've always thought these were scams, but I figured what do I have to lose. I'll look for low cost advertisers and make sure I cancel after the trial.
So my out of pocket was a little more than $80, not bad for a new Xbox 360. They were very responsive when I would ask about advertisers or getting status updates, or answering questions regarding the redemption form. So I completed the NINE offers, and waited almost 2 months before they were reported as complete. Then I filled out the redemption form and sent it in.
In their T&C they mention that you must wait for 30 days to send in the form to be valid. Then the next line says it must be received within 30 days to be valid. IF THATS NOT SUSPICIOUS, of course I didn't read that until later.
So a few weeks go by, and I just happen to click on the status link (its been a habit for the past 3 months) and noticed that all my Completed offers were changed to Disqualified. So I inquired, their response was that I had two accounts and that was a violation of their T&C and I was disqualified.
This was completely false and when I asked them to verify, they ignored me. They ignored repeated messages over and over for resolve.
How these companies work is they get paid by advertisers to send traffic, ie, sign up for their offer. They make $xx per registrant. So if they are making $50 per lead, and requiring 9 programs that's $450 they made off me, of that I'm entitled to my $399 Xbox 360.
So they make up a lie that I have two accounts, disqualify me and keep my share of the agreement. In their introduction they clearly address they are not a scam but yet they function like a scam.
Sincerely, Scot Powers

Is there a way to take legal action against freezone.com? I obviously completed all offers (verified), I sent in my notarized redemption formed, which they acknowledged, then 16 weeks goes by following that and they never return my inquiries into the matter, which are still in 'open' status. It's as if their business went under and they skipped town. Obviously I can't get any answers, but strictly completed all the guidelines to a T. There's got to be enough people out there who have gotten screwed...any ideas what to do from here? -Chuck From: Message Author (click here to email author) (has asked not to receive email)Date: Saturday, 18-Oct-08 10:33:21 CDT Business: Reply Online Consumer: Comment On This Comment On ThisYou couldnt be more wrong.
