The law firm of Wisselman, Harounian Associates in Great Neck New York =

advertises itself as aFather's Rights Law Firm. I can tell you that they =

did nothing to help me in my case and negotiat. ed nothing on my behalf. =

My request was simple. I have an ex-wife who cannot have a conversation =

about anything. She is so convinced the conversation will become a =

confrontation that she will only resort to getting someone else to take =

care of her business. Mind you this is not a attitude directed just at =

me. I'm not into confrotation either but I'm a trained counselor and can =

carry on conversations that lead to results.

My ex filed a motion with child support services for the money I was to =

pay during the time I was unemployed. Any other and every other person I =

owed money to I sppoke to and worked out a repay method. My wife just =

filed. I wanted Wisselman, Hoarounian and Associates to do two simple =

things negotiate a repayment plan and make it an experience that would =

make her think twice about continually using the courts. There were =

plenty of opportunities for my lawyer to do this but none of it every =

happened. She filed a false statement of income. I told them to call her =

on it. Nothing. I asked them to negotiate repayment. Nothing. No attempt =

ever. When it became clear that money would have to come out of my =

pension to make a repayment Wisselman, Harounian & Associates figured =

out that that was how they were to be paid too. So despite the tax =

penalty Iwould have to incurr my lawyer to her lawyer the money was =

there. In NY pesions are not usually required to be used for this type =

of debt but my lawyer saw his only way to get paid and pushed the answer =

forward. Bottom line is Wisselman, Harounian et. al. offer poor service =

to "fathers" if the mother isn't in outright violation. DOn't use this =

firm to negotiate anyting related to your divorce decree
