CISS-Continuous Ink Supply System from Echostore.com

CISS-Continuous Ink Supply System from Echostore.com the name of the company is ECHOSTORE.COM. they supply a CISS - Continuous Ink Supply System. it seemed to good to be true, must have been because it didn't work. the system is supplied with large ink tanks that sits outside of the printer and then small tubes run up to the supplied cartridges that are inserted into the printer to replace the OEM cartridges. this system was not recognized by my printer from the beginning and has now rendered my printer useless. i found out i need to send my printer -(Epson R200) into a authorized service center and have a Epson service center run priority utility software on my printer and have the chips reset so that it will work. i did email echostore.com for help, and this is where i should have seen a flag go up. NO PHONE NUMBER is listed for this company. everytime i emailed echostore.com i ALWAYS got the same response day- after-day. there first question was - WHAT IS THE PROBLEM? i always responded that the red light on top of my printer is on continuously and that the printer will not of course print. they always responded with WHICH CARTRIDGE IS NOT BEING RECOGNIZED BY THE COMPUTER/ PRINTER. REMOVE THIS CARTRIDGE AND REINSERT IT and THE RED LIGHT WILL QUIT BLINKING. i would do a return email and again inform them that it is not a single cartridge but that none of them were recognized and that the light is constantly on RED. without failure the next day it would start all over again with WHAT IS THE PROBLEM? and what really clued me into the fact that this is a scam operation is that they WILL NOT supply me with a telephone number and also every piece of email that i get from these people is signed by GEORGE. no matter who it is or what time of day, it is signed GEORGE. all responses were EXACT duplicates of the previous few days marry-go-round. it is simply incredible that a scam operation can function with access to the entire world and access your checking account numbers via a debit card and and survive, and not only survive - but grow and not be held accountable for there crooked business dealings. this scared me so much that i have actually cancelled my MAC card and have paid for a new one to be issued. still at 47 years old, life's lessons simply don't stop. i should have caught on to the fact that there was no telephone number. thank you, David Neese From: Message Author (click here to email author)Date: Thursday, 07-Jun-07 21:25:24 CDT Business: Reply Online Consumer: Comment On This Comment On Thisechostore.com is not a scam operation...yes they do have cheap ink products but you did receive the product am i right? how high quality did you expect it to be at the price they charge? because the owner was unable to help you with your printer you beleive this is a scam operation? the simple fact that he even took the time to try and respond to you says otherwise. the man does not speak english he uses a translator, and just because he cant help you with your printer does not make him a scam artist. if he was a scam artist you would have received NO product, and definatrely gotten NO response when you tryed to complain. i have purchased from this store and been very happy with thier service. i havent purchased their ink systems however because i know better than to buy a cheap product and expect quality. the only "life lesson" you have learned from this is you get what you pay for :) at 47 years old i am suprised you do not know the definition of scam.
