a city discount ACityDiscount/Peach Trader,Inc. Atlanta Ga. I ordered two items from this company on 02/28/2007, a Scotsman Ice Maker and a Wall Bracket totally $2,948.03. I did not need the wall bracket and on March 28th I was told by a customer service rep. that I could return the wall bracket for a refund as long as the item was still in the original box unused. I returned this item on March 30th via FedEx next day to the manufactuer as instructed. As of todays date June 6,2007 I still do not have my refund. I have made numerous phone calls to the company regarding my refund, from the CEO down to the Customer Service manager along with almost daily emails addressed to their Customer Support Dept, NONE of my calls have ever been returned and only one reply email was received with a response saying that it will take 2 months for me to get my refund. Last call made today 6/6 to the customer service manager, I was told that now it could take as long as 3 months for me to get my refund. When I asked why it takes so long to get a refund, I was given the excuse that they are not set up to do refunds. MY GOD how difficult is it to write a check and put it in the mail.......... I have now had to file a claim with my bank to try and expedite a refund. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY, no matter if it seems like a great deal, you could pay for it later. I purchased an item worth around 1000 and my item broke after owning the item for less than 6 weeks! They said they cannot accept refunds and I would have to deal with the manufacturer. Even though I purchased from them, not the manufacturer! I also left several messages which they never returned, however, I've had the "pleasure" of emails which now total over 30 of them and the matter is still not resolved. They are truly unprofessional and I have also complained to the BBB about them. They should not be in business.
