Verizon MP3 phones
|
Verizon MP3 phones I recently purchased a LGVX8600. I was happy to combine my music with my phone and not miss any calls. Unfortunately this was not the case. I have a substantial library of music. I download and pay for songs from Walmart.com, NapsterMobile and RealPlayer. The files range in price from .88 to .99 cents. These songs will not play on the LG phones. Verizon suggested that I replace the files using their VCAST music system. The cost of a one download can be $1.99 or more plus airtime to download them. An example is 50 songs that cost .88 from Walmart is $44.00. The same songs from Verizon $101.50. You can add the two together if you are replacing files that won't download. That's $145.00 dollars. Can you spell RIP OFF. The music cost more than phone. I am returning the phone today. Beware of hidden cost when buying cell phones they do the most marvelous things but you will pay dearly if you are careful.
