TLG, Travelers Advantage fraudulent charges to my account <html><div style='background-color:'><DIV> <DIV><FONT face="Geneva, Arial, Sans-serif" size=1>I too had a $99.99 unauthorized charge to my credit card in May 2007 tracing back to Travelers Advantage. I called and did get a cancellation code and am advised it will take 1-2 stmt cycles to appear. I was also told by "Josh" that they got my information from a transaction I did at Ticketmaster. I was surprised and dismayed that Ticketmaster (granted, I'm assuming this is true) would give my information to another company without authorization. I frequently have online transactions and am very careful with them, so feel I would have never knowingly given Ticketmaster approval to give my credit card information out. </FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT face="Geneva, Arial, Sans-serif" size=1></FONT> </DIV> <DIV><FONT face="Geneva, Arial, Sans-serif" size=1>I called the 800-548-1116 a second time after reading your patrons reviews and advise, so thanks for posting them. This time "Josh" agreed to refund my money - however, the first lady tried to get me to give her my credit card number. She stated that was the only way she could locate my records.. I of course told her I wouldn't give it to her. I was advised to contact the company by mail if I wanted further assistance. Josh however was able to track my transaction using the credit card transaction number! He did try hard to get me to stay on offering lots of great deals, but I was persistant in just demanding my refund. He reluctantly gave me it and issued me a confirmation code. I wil be monitoring this until I see the credit on my card. I have also notified my credit card company of this transaction.</FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT face="Geneva, Arial, Sans-serif" size=1></FONT> </DIV> <DIV><FONT face="Geneva, Arial, Sans-serif" size=1>Regards,</FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT face="Geneva, Arial, Sans-serif" size=1></FONT> </DIV> <DIV><FONT face="Geneva, Arial, Sans-serif" size=1>M Robey</FONT></DIV><BR><BR><BR> <DIV><FONT color=#6633ff><FONT face="Lucida Handwriting, Cursive">"Don't accept your dog's admiration as conclusive evidence that you are wonderful."
