On April 19, 2007, I signed up with Roommate Express after reading their web

site and also getting a phone assurance that they didn’t have a problem

finding roommates in the South side of Chicago area, in fact he basicly said

that they were flooded with people looking for rooms. I paid the $34 and

after 45 days of my 60 days of service, I received exactly zero, 0, none

responses even after changing my ad to a very generic ad that offered a room

to anyone at a very below normal rent for the area. I have repeatedly

emailed for weeks and can not get a response. I did get a hold of them

earlier this week and acted like a new customer and again he assured me that

the southside of Chicago had a lot of listing and when I told him that I was

really a disallusioned customer, he said that I had posted my ad wrong and

had to open up the area. Well, that gave three useless old adsfor after 48

days, problably kept in there because that is all they have and the same

ones I would had got a month ago.

Obviously, this service is a scam and needs to be shut down……

The BBB and state of IL will also be notified!
